Winged Dragon On Helm, US Insignia, Buttons
Had a short go at the new field. The broach or button with the dragon on top of the helm is the coolest design of anything I have dug, its just neat. The oak leaf broach is a beaut also. The US insignia bronze disk was used from 1910 to 1924. It was laying on the ground looking up at me. Two buttons, the smaller non descript has the backmark, Ives Scott the other with the gilt back reads, R&W. Robinson. Very neat small hunt. Arty

Hello Hans R Dirty, the bust is made of brass or bronze. I do not see any tell tale signs on the back to let me know how it was mounted. Its cool what ever it was. I will post it on, what is it. Art

I believe the small keyhole things are part of a suspender.
The bust with the dragon helm is a portrayal of St. George. Thank you Montauk for the ID.

Great buttons, relics and Very Nice Dragon Piece Arty.
I think the questioned item is a garter belt clip for stockings...
in pre pantyhose days these were a lot more common
Modern ones are identical
Best wishes & HH! Herbie.
