Well, Yesterday I took the day off and went and checked out the "Battle for Wisconsin Heights" where Chief Blackhawk took 700 of his tribe and eluded the US Soldiers from Illinois and Michigan in the Wisconsin Territories back in 1832. I was amazed and felt an eerie feeling while I walked the battleground. Unfortunately I was unable to detect at the site because of the Historic nature of the site and really didn't feel like giving my MD to the state today.
I did go down to a beach on the Wisconsin river which normally during hot days is frequented by nudist and decided to see what I could find ( no... no nudists today it was only 55 degrees) I did find several 7mm shells, a bunch of "pot metal" ( which normally I think is from people throwing beer cans and other cans into a fire) and 1.69 in change one dime I found at 15 inches! I found a set of keys and modern day bullets ( full metal jackets). Nothing of real interest besides that. But in all a very good day to MD!
Happy Hunting !
