I was looking through my old tokens and forgot about this nice gem that either my dad or i dug in a sandy field about 15 years ago. It's amazing how well sandy soil preserves coins. I know the movement stretched a pretty long time, so any help on pinning down a date on this would be greatly appreciated

Very Nice Token John, it is true, the sandy soil is such a pleasure to dig in, almost all the buttons I dig in our sandy soil around here has most of the gilt still left and the coppers come out in good shape, much like your temperance token...Very sweet token! :occasion14:
