    New to this!!

I am very new to this but went out earlier and found my first wheat penny! May not sound like much but it is a great start for me! I've only went out 4 times detecting and I enjoy it greatly!

Not at the moment it isn't exactly in the greatest shape. I was told never to even attempt to clean a coin but it's a 1952 D if I seen correctly. I'm new to all this but really enjoy it so far!

I started out at age 12 - so when I got wheats - it was great
knew I was in an older spot - then I found my 1st buffalo
then first silver - which was a 1964 quarter
    that was 37 yrs ago
Just keeps getting better and better
    good luck

That is a great start and if you find a wheat penny you know there's gotta be silver nearby.

Finish it up then after it rains go back over it, you should notice that a wet ground will let you find some deeper targets, Also if you have a jewelry mode on your detector try using that as well.

So a damp ground is better to detect on? Awesome it's raining right now so I hope it keeps going until tomorrow! Thanks for the tip!!
