Great finds for 30 minutes imagine spending the day on that field Jim

Great results for 30 minutes! You have some really nice fields on hand. Is that thimble cut or a sewing ring? I don't know if there are medieval sewing rings at all. Never seen before. Congrats!

I've found many 14th C topless thimbles, thats roughly when they started.

Nice finds. I have a few of those types of thimbles, they were used by a seamstress. Open top to allow air so the finger would not sweat, the thimble could fall off easy when sweaty. HH, Mike
