I Hunted a lot of hours over last few days, super hot and muggy but got some goodies to show for it, ended up with 3 silver, 3 indians, the 1883 is just about mint shape. 1911 V nickel, 2 tokens....and some odds and ends.....here is the loot:

1909 token from a County Fair, this is about my favorite find from the weekend.

Hyvis Motor Oil token

my small tribe and my only old nickel for the whole weekend. I think I dug about 100 nickel signals, and this was the only oldie.

Dug indians don't get much better than this one...

3 silver....had to work hard for these babies.

Old cufflink, this was about 8" deep at a 1800's home, came in just like a nickel, I am pretty sure it is not solid gold, no markings anywhere, but it came out of the ground shining with just a wipe of the finger, must be gold filled or heavily gold plated. The face is mother of pearl....

just some odds and ends...the little cup was a deep nickel signal, and any idea what cartoon character this is? Found it pretty deep, figured it had some age on it.

Is the little guy a character from Popeye?
Other than not properly stating the correct order of finds in your title, (tokens Should always be represented first!),
you did outstanding!
Carl
Killer token, anything with a specific date is just icing on the cake!

The actual hierarchy of announcing to the internet viewing public always has, and always will be that token find announcements preclude any other find, other than gold coins, old drinking buddies that you left for dead, and the occasional adorable cat playing with yarn video.

Did you not get the memo?

Carl

Just noticed the little pewter, or pot metal trophy, dug one just like that out here in Denver.

Your Hyvis token is probably from mid 1920's to early 1940's.
Nice.
Curious, what does the back of Eugene the Jeep pin look like?
Does it have any markings?
