UPDATE!! I was able to track him down through the cards that were inside the holder. He emailed me this:

"Dear Jason

Thank you for finding my silver card.I lost it on my way from Courtyard Marriott hotel to Penn Station. I had had too much luggage and was in a big hurry to catch my train for the airport.
So how can we come in contact to get back my card holder and give you a finder's fee.

Cordially Dr.F"

I told him that I do not want a reward, my reward is knowing that it is getting back to the rightful owner.
Happy Hunting!
Jason

Hello all,

Since I have moved to downtown Philadelphia and I don't have/need a car I have been doing other forms of treasure hunting. I volunteer at Philly AIDS Thrift store a few times a week and sometimes come across a few neat items and with my discount they can become great inexpensive investments.

Walking in front of the hotel where I work, this silver card holder caught my eye on the sidewalk. I picked it up and it was really heavy so I knew it had to be silver. I was right. I knew someone was really going to miss this thing. The only problem was that the cards in it are all German. What I have done to try and track this guy down was to email the insurance company with a copy of his medical card and explained that I found his card and holder and I would like to get it back to him at no cost. I also emailed the same thing to a business card that was in the holder.

I wonder how I would have been able to track him down if we didn't have the internet? I really hope to get this to him soon, it looks expensive.

Wish me luck!

Awesome sidewalk find, Very well done. It makes it that much more awesome when you return something like this to the person it belongs to. The real hunt starts now tracking the person down. Thumbs up! :p
