I took the kids to our local park here in NH.I figured while they were playing at the playground,i would do a little MDing for a couple of hours before my microeconomics class.I have been hitting this park for about 5 years now.Just when you think it is all hunted out it suprises you with a few gifts. The very first thing I dug today was the 1932 Buffalo Nickel.I wasnt even going to dig it either,I changed my mind and did anyway. It rang up as a 28 to 30 on my Fisher F-70.Most nickels have been going off a bit higher.I thought it was going to be another pull tab.Glad I dug it.After about another 2 hours I ended up with a 1944 s wheat cent.Made in California and ended up here in NH.I also found a real interesting button no inscription on it and shank broken.I could use some help IDing it.I also found 2 pieses of junk jewelry(dragonfly ring-rang up in the 26-27 range0I was hoping it would be gold, but looks plated.also found a plated pendant.Found a $1.15 in clad also.I am also going to add a pic of a gold gilted button that has ROMA on it with what looks like Julius or Agustus Ceaser. Some Id help on this would be appreciated also.(found in a park in Manchester,NH)

Nice Finds SS :hello:
You have a 'Tombac' button, they come out looking like new though it probably dates pre 1800.
Best wishes and HH to you! Herbie.

Nice finds!
Buffalos are always a treat since pull tabs outnumber them by the billions or maybe trillions.
