Got to the swimming area before sunrise this morning to beat the heat and the crowd. Not long after I got there I found the thing with the red dots on it and I have no clue what it is. Any help with that is appreciated. I broke my personal record with bobbie pins and scooped up 22. I forgot my finds pouch at the house and had to put everything in my swimming trunks pocket. That's why the three fish hooks aren't pictured, lol... That knife is a Frost Cutlery Flying Falcon and just needed a little oil and it's ready to go. The ring is tungsten and took me about five tries to get it scooped up. I'm glad I didn't give up on it. I stayed until the water got a little crowded. It was a lot of fun and I'll be sore for days, lol

Some really nice finds.
I found a tungsten not to long ago. Did it sound like a nickel or pulltab?
Mine did and it fit just right!

Nice Ring you got!
it amazes me how much those cost, without any PM content.
must be difficult to work the hard metal,

one good thing is they come out looking like new .

My hats off to you on using that pulse machine,

I'm having a heck of a time getting used to mine ....

Best wishes and hh to you !

I was thinking along the same lines when I first saw it. But I think it might be a dog whistle.

I think that thing with the red dots might be a charm to a bracelet. I have seen many different ones touring the stores with my wife and sometimes they break off at the base and leave no clue. If I was a betting man I would say the hoop that would connect it to the rest of the bracelet broke off smoothly leaving you with what you got.

That sand shark is taking some getting used to and I did have to give up on one swimming area. I couldn't move the coil a foot without getting a signal. It got real unsettling trying to set the coil down on the bottom while scooping up a target. I bet there's a lot of stuff at that place but it would take a year to dig everything. I bought that machine so I would be forced to dig everything because after a while I tend to discriminate out the pull tabs, tin foil and bottle caps. I'm sure I've missed very good targets that way. Now, maybe I'll go back and find a few gold rings I've missed. Have a great night everyone.
