A thesbian ring! Not to be confused with that other term. Gold is usually a trash signal like a pull tab and many MDers discriminate them out and miss gold rings as a result. The last one I found bounced between a pull tab and a nickel but turned out to be a large 10k classring. Great find! Monty

Congrats on the gold. I don't know about you, but when I found my first ring it shocked me half to death!

That is a really tough looking ring,rings are few and far between. ive found 4 or 5 silver ones so far but they are hard to miss. You really have to dig all those low tones to find the gold...HH

Thanks for the kind words everyone.

If I didn’t protect my hunting locations they would be on someone else’s circuit. I have built a circuit of parks and areas I hunt. Some parks produce more gold that others and some areas produce more old coins that others. This was the second time I hunted this park in two years. The first time I found a 1968 Kennedy Head and a few bucks in clad.
