Nice radio. I have seen those slots in med cabinets, for old razor blades, they go inside the wall. You thought something else?

I just thought of it. Someone could have put a coin or anything else in that slot and wouldnt be able to get it back. I guess that is why you called it a coin slot and searched it. 8) :-[

Who's to say the "coin slot" wasn't someone's secret stash of halves for a rainy day? The old lady sure ain't gonna find it. It's just a matter of leaving no stone unturned...besides, the cabinate was leaving with me anyways, very nice mirror on it. I always check the "coin slot", you just never know what you'll find!
Yes I understand. I have only seen rusty razors, but I understand exactly what youre saying. :-[

My father told be about the "coin slot". Ever since he told me he would drop coins in it to hear them fall I have checked for those in the walls of old bathrooms before they demo.

Many old motel rooms have them.

Re: ANOTHER indoor hunt and 1933 RCA-Victor

There are coins in my razor slot. I used to slip pennies into the slot every so often back in the 60's. I figured that who ever tore the house down would be surprised at what he found. A couple times when my dad did some remodeling, I placed magazines and newspapers between the studs. I guess that even 40 years ago as a pre-teen I was thinking treasure.
