Started a new yard today...............

and it was just a beautiful afternoon today, mid 70's, almost hot - well, found a 1916-D Buffalo Nickel, two wheaties 1916 & 1929, an old button, a 1994 Camp Snoopy token, and a "New Edison" thimble. HH - Hawkeye Jim.

It was a beautiful day.I left work early just to get in a couple hours hunting.It felt like spring fever after the long bout of cold weather.You made some great finds today.Nice lookin 1916D Buffalo.That Edison thimble is a neat find.Hope the great weather holds out for you. Best of luck.

Nice finds...I see the ground was kind to that buffalo, all that I find here are all corroded and/or discolored...unlike yours whcih looks real nice...congrats!!!

Wow, I can't believe you found something with Snoopy on it!!! I seriously hope I find a Snoopy token someday - that would be awesome.

Ya see, my wife collects Snoopy stuff, so if I dug up something with Snoopy on it - maybe, just maybe she would encourage me to go out and detect more often!!!

i grew up about 20 minutes from knotts berry farm... thats where that token is from.
it was america's first theme park started in the twenties.

Nice digs you've got there, I right a way was thinking, hmmm....two 1916 coins, I might get lucky and find a 1916-D merc at this place. Hunt it hard and thorough and you might get lucky.
