This is my first posting. On a recent Metal Detecting & Relic hunting trip to Nevada I found a U.S. $10.00 Gold Eagle, 1909 S. Was Surface Hunting in a trashy area & spotted a glint of color in the dirt. Could just see a slight edge & I thought it was a gold colored key tag. When I pulled it from the dirt I could feel the weght & see the Eagle , My first U.S. Gold Coin. YeeeHaaaaa !!!! Detected the area but no more significant finds. Will try to post a picture when I figure out how.
