Dug a six pound solid shot Confederate cannonball!!!

Hello everyone, It's been awhile since I've posted anything on here. I have been hunting a virgin Union Civil War camp, and have found a lot of stuff. I was hunting the out skirts of the camp, when I started digging artillery shell fragments, I found out from a local historian that the frags were Confederate, they are from a local battle. I went back out there Saturday to find more of these frags and dug a real nice six pound solid shot! This is my third cannonball, it's the one in the middle on the display picture!

I am not going to call this a good find, a amazing find, a great find ect; ect;. Hell we a know it is. I hope some of you guys see what your missing when you ask how do I disc out iron. I hate digging up junk. I just want gold and silver, bla bla bla. Man that cracks me up. I would rather find a piece of history like this any day then some housewives gold earring. A great save you have there.
