Took up traps today and while we were wating for teh tide to go out so we could get the truck to the float to get the traps I hit a new yard I jsut got permission to hunt. The house was built in the 1800's and with only an hour of time I kinda bouned around the yard. I found an 1865 IH, an old colgate cold cream jar, an old brass lock with a half moon on it, an old brass shotgun shell, 3 old lead seine weights, a silver plate sppon, a little bell, and a couple of old toy wheels. Hopefully the warm weather will hold so I can cover the yard fully...got about 2 acres to go over.
HH!!

With a Indian like that... I'd be back there first thing in the morning! There's more to be found for sure.

Congrats!

Not bad for an hour, I'd take those finds anyday. Better go back to that spot and really take your time hunting it.

You really have some wonderful places to hunt out there, always an interesting mix of finds as well. Would like to see some pics of your locations sometime if you get a chance would also really like to see all your lobster stuff as well, boat traps and some lobsters too oh how I love them.
