Beach hunt yields 2 more gold rings

Got out at low tide this morning with Sanddigger, and after the first 15 minutes we had 3 gold rings between us. But we got shut out for the next 3 hours. I first dug a nice 10kt wedding band, and then on my next target less than 10 feet away out pops this nice looking 14kt ring with 3 stones. We stopped and had it checked on the way home and all 3 tested positive for diamonds. Made my day for sure, and provided the motivation I needed to get out again soon. Good luck to everyone ..... Bill

Very cool. Its nice to be paid to have fun.

I am hoping that can do as good when I have a chance to hit the coast.

The AT Gold that I am swinging is great in the freshwater, but I have heard not to great in salt, but I will not let that stop me for trying.

I don't know about you Bill, but I would have no problem cashing in modern gold and diamonds. However when it comes to colonial relics and coins, that's another story.

I'm just a rookie beach hunter that gets lucky every once in a while. Gotta have something to do to pass the time until colonial hunting season.

Nice diggin' Bill! It looks like you don't need a beach machine. You and Sanddigger are doing just fine without one.

    Bill,

It's great that you are able to adapt to different hunting styles depending on the season (relics, colonial era, beach hunting)--and excell at all of them! Congrats on some beautiful gold.

    Best Wishes,

    Buck
