Spent 3 hrs & 45 Mins on some new land. It was once a late Victorian allotments & is covered in trash, so we picked through it as best we can:

Yes, this is another reason, along with a few others I haven't mentioned.

If you think about the sizes of lots of these, they are kids sizes, many of mine don't even fit my pinky. I don't think an army of kids sat & did 'all' that sewing.


Kids or women working in the fields, that could be also. I never find real small ones here (have found a few toy thimbles in the city dumps though), just normal size and larger. Anyway, good finds!
