No rain + one record month in June = my metal detecting opportunities have pretty much gone down to zero in the last month.
So I hit a few yard sales this weekend.
*Two 1940's curling irons. They will either go through the auction (depending on the assessment of my Mom's auctioneer friend) or will be a X-mas present for my Sister in Law who is a beautician.
*50 years or older W. Rogers silver plated serving dish for $2.00. VINTAGE SILVER PLATE WM ROGERS 862 COVERED SERVING DISH FOR GLASS CASSEROLE | eBay The dish has it's original cloth storage cover and a pyrex dish inside.
*A White's Amphibian II underwater detector. The gentleman was asking $100, but he let me have it for $75. He used to dive to 60 ft. with it when he lived in Florida. He said he's found old Silver and Gold coins in the Atlantic Ocean.
