My First Large Copper @ 'The Park'

Yesterday I decided to go to the park where I have been getting some really nice finds.
I hunted just about an hour and I get a strong VDI 87 @ 7 inches on the T2.
I'm thinking maybe a nice silver quarter...no...out pops my first large copper.
It is in rough shape and someone stamped their initials in it.
I know it is hard to see, but I believe it is an 1831.
I also found some clad and some junk.
    Thanks for looking.

    Joe

I have to take my detector out for a walk every now & then. If I don't, it starts leaving little piles of pull tabs all over the house!!

Always nice to find a large one cent!! Soaking in boiling Hydro-Oxide will get some of the crud off. Well done!!
