    one keeper ,CS Reunion Medal

The only good thing I found today after feeding 1000 mosquitoes was what I think is a confederate reunion medal of some sort. It has crossed confederate flags ,says MEMPHIS in the middle and has a date of June 8-9-10 1909.
    Nothing on the back. I am sure it had a ribbon on it originally .
    I like finding coins but personal items like this is where it is at. This thing's original owner probably had a story to tell.     I assume it is a reunion medal. I have seen the GAR medals and I know the southern states had reunions also. The crossed Confederate flags and the date of June 1909 points to that but I could be wrong.
