Anybody like Yooho and 14K gold?
It pays to slow down, and that I did. SLOW sweep swings with my Spectra V3i /12 inch 300 coil and hit a good VDI 27 for ring.

You sometimes gotta make the V crawl and that's when you can get a surprise.

Always lovely to see a ring pop out.
I wonder though, how the VDI's translate between machines. I mean, would a 27 be the same on another machine? Would they both be ring hits? Just curious.

On newer whites the VDI numbers are the same. A 27 VDI won't always be a ring. That's a pull tab reading too. LOL.

Thanks for the info.
Do the numbers work across brands? I mean, is an AT-PRO's 27 the same as a White's?
HH!

I don't think so. Never used one. Most brands would have different #'s.

Mr. Gunntekk1 ... I can found something and factually tell how it was found, maybe it may help others who, what, where, when and how. Then a discussion follows...thats all. It is stamped 14K inside and yes it was plated/ China where ever....But dont care!

Nice vintage ring you found. You're right, slow and low is the way to go.
