L' Etoile Du Nord-pin
Got out for an hour and found this pin L' Etoile Du Nord.
It's a French phrase meaning "The Star of the NORTH "
It is the motto of the state of Minnesota. It was chosen by the state's first govenor Henry Hastings Sibley and was adopted in 1861 . This pin might be from that time period .
Got a 1943-P war nickel and $ sterling spoon . The spoon was 16 inches below the sod and I only had to dig 2 inches to get it. I bet your wondering how that could be. The street is getting torn up and the curb and gutter removed leaving over 2 ft. of dirt showing.

Hi olkyground. It's a pin. I thought it was a button at first and the pin is bent.
