I live in a old home on 1 acre across from an old coal mine, about 100 years old, that closed long ago. My house was actually the lantern master's house. I have went over my yard with my X-Terra 705, T2, AT Pro, and ETrac numerous times and found some interesting mining related stuff, coins, etc.

I had an hour to kill before dark and took the ETrac out in the yard. After 5 minutes I got a 12-26 signal at 3" down....

.... 2" tag stamped 'Indiana County, PA #3464' and dated '1937'

Just when you thought there was nothing left.... go figure....

Cool find.....Ever find any trade tokens for that mine and company store? My family is from Harlan County KY and were all miners. Love the area. Lived in TN my whole life but go to KY from time to time to visit.

I found some old miner's tags... with their numbers on them... some coal cart parts, and some other stuff I don't know what it's for. no tokens yet! i actually found where they had the General Store and a Chapel, but have to wait til the poison ivy and brush go down in the winter to hit it
