My first pocket watch, comb, and silver.
Well I hunted a usual spot twednesday at dawn, got some clad and a 194? merc some fishing stuff an a little clad.
Today I went out and hunted a new spot that got me a 1910 wheat and a 53 rosie. Left that spot (will be going back) hit some woods that yielded nothing. I ended the day at a park that my friend and I hunt often. The ingersoll yankee pocket watch was on the surface under a foot bridge burried in some weeds. According to the serial number its from 1928. The comb and clad was from another section of the same park. Enjoy and happy hunting!

I like the comb, you think it pre-dates modern plastic, maybe Bakelite or celluloid?

Very interesting finds!
I don't think I've ever seen a Merc come out that rusty looking! This come out of the ground?
Strange mineralization there!
HH!
I have to take my detector out for a walk every now & then. If I don't, it starts leaving little piles of pull tabs all over the house!!

You have no idea. I got this from the bay that does horrible things to silver. I posted this one where the silver actualy bubbled off the dime. I can't explain it I just dig it.
