First find ever on my first day metal detecting

Hello to all,
I posted an introduction but did not have a pic of my find at the time...I bought a new viper trident at a ok price and am a scuba diver...Thought it would be cool to metal detect underwater and was gona give it a try...When I got the machine, I took my kids to a spot with cellar holes to give it a try on land...My first 15 min or so I found a Liberty dime from 1886...Now Im hooked and want to go back to the woods...Every min of the day, I dream and focus on metal detecting lol...Anyway here is the pic I took when I got home.. First find ever, not to be the last..

Thank you all for your comments..I am definately hooked lol..I would have never imagined finding this in the short time I hunted that day..I am gona go back..It was by a lake I used to party at when I was in highschool 17 years ago.. The lake is all dried up now and looks like a small field with weeds..Amazing to me! I have never really seen a dried up lake like that in this area..Not talking about a small area either..There is a small raft in the middle of it almost as if it was sunk and left there...maybe this place will hold a couple more finds...I know this was an excellent find am an not trying to get my hopes up for anything better BUT WOW..It was just enough to get me insane about this hobby..Thanks to all ..P.S. Mrmackin, my sons birthday is coming up so ima get him a kids detector! He loved it and was more excited than I was haha.

Ok Guys..Got the Night off from work so I am heading out to the same spot for a couple of hours...I got some daylight still.....We will see what happens...Happy Hunting!

Just got back from metal detecting for my second time...Well Not as good as the first...It was kinda late here to go to the spot where I found the 1886 liberty dime...I ended up in some field off the side of the road...I dug up about 10 nails, pieces of iron, or pieces of barbed wire and not in that order...was gona give up the spot till I got a 1944 piece of ..kept me around a bit more to find a old buckle...Hope to go back out tmrw...good night being out though...Heres what I found.
