First CW buckle, please help identify

Just found this about 30 minutes ago. I found it at the same school site I've been hunting this week. Still shaking from my first buckle find. It was in a road tear out under 3 inches of gravel in hard red clay, directly under a root. Enough said, here's some pictures!!!

I went back to look for the wreath, dug a huge hole no luck. It must have deteriated or fallen off before it was lost. I though the same thing when I saw pictures of them online.

Went back and dug a huge hole, no luck. Must have been lost before the buckle was. I though the same thing after I looked it up when I got home. :-)

Cool find! An officers sword belt plate, I'd go back and look really good to see If you can find the wreath that went around the Eagle.............HH

when you go back, dig it all. Digging coin signals will get you the odd belt plate that happens to be there, but it won't get you all the Civil War buttons, bullets, and other relics. Get on it. Time is ticking.
