This was found in a field where an old farm house/Barn once stood. Have no idea of it's significance if any, or maybe it has some history to it. This place was located in the Eastern Plains of Colorado (Limon area). Went out with a new Group I joined called the Pikes Peak Adventure League. What a Great bunch of guys and gals. Had a wonderful time.

Hi Milehigh,

It looks like part of a harness from a wagon or animal rigged plow. It would attach on at the spikes and pivot like a doorknocker. Ropes and items could be hung from it. Still it looks pretty cool.

I once found a round bull nose ring on property owned at one time by Will Rogers in Fort Worth. It has about the same amount of rust.
