Congrats on an awesome day of digging. Nice assortment of coins there. You hardly ever see V nickels and nickel 3 centers come out of the ground looking that good. Your soil must be mineral free.

thanks ive never even seen the nickle 3 cent so i was kinda lost when i dug it had no clue what it was and as far as the ground goes its a very dry sandy bottom all the coins were about 7 inches down

it showed up as a 45 -46 in the foil range normally i wouldnt dig it but at old houses i dig everything and ive never seen one period till today lol

normal nickles show up as a 53-52 the 3 cent was really choppy another reason i dug it normally foil is very pronounced this wasnt it was all over the place but kept going back to those numbers

wow that is real close to a nickel.....very odd. On the etrac a nickel is 12-13 and a 3 cent nickel is only 12-06 HALF of what a nickel is. Good deal you were able to get it

thanks.it never was a good clear signal it was choppy and bouncing everywhere but it kept coming back to 45-46 definitley wasnt expecting it
