Great fibula and the groat isn't bad too! The broken fibula was a big one, too bad that it's in half....

Steelyard balance - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A steelyard balance (above) is a crude but accurate way to measure items. This is thought to be a counter balance/weight in the shape of an acorn. It is rare but not unknown to have these in bronze & in difference shapes like heads etc. The most common ones are just Lead with a iron or bronze loop. This is a small example, but the iron residue still fills the loop, so indicates a utility use instead of a pendant/jewelry. I thought it a little too small, but maybe they weighed finer objects with it instead of the larger ones for grain etc...

Another possible answer is a plumb-bob although on the light side, so less likely. (specially with an iron chain)
