Yes I also see 1891 & 1897 1887 etc. when viewed from different angles. All the old copper containing coins that I find here in long island NY have been really bad so far.


On another note I think that the brooch I found is quite old.It has the hallmark of the La Pierre mfg Co. Looking for some more info on that brooch?
