I spent 5 hours & 30 Minutes on the last of our deep ploughed Roman Sites. Land-Mag joined me for a couple of hours & added 5 coins to his collection:icon_thumright: Dad joined me for the last hour & a half. It was T-Shirt weather again:icon_scratch:

33 Roman Bronze Coins
Broken Roman Tweezers
Broken Roman Bracelet (3 strands) - First I think
My first Roman Plate Brooch in the shape of a Bird/Dove8-)
Circa 1780s Solid Silver Seal Matrix - my first silver type, which I hoped for to complete my collection:headbang:
Bronze Roman Panther Head:headbang::headbang: - Roman Krater Handle Adornment (Updated ID)

A really great outing!

Amazing finds Cru. That panther thing looks interesting. It will be a pretty fancy knife it was used as a handle. Hopefully you can figure it out.

3 Roman Coins, however, 1 was the best condition of the day.

It is fancy & rare, it maybe Military related, but I will update if I find out anything.

Crusader,

Great mix of old finds....I'd have to go with the silver seal matrix as the best of the lot.

You are so lucky to be in an ares so rich in history and relics. I'm in N, Georgia, USA. We have Indian relics, artifacts, pottery and some Civil war spots. All are scattered hard to find and hard to get permission to hunt. My family came here from Chester England. Are you close to there and is it a rich hunting area?

I am lucky but we never leave it to luck, nice when it happens though.

These sites are scattered & hard to find, thats why there is stuff left from the Night Hawkers. Also permission is difficult as well, thats why our team is so strong, we cover all the bases.
In areas around Chester it will be richer (Roman period) than what I'm posting. However, same problems, find a good site & one that hasn't been done.
