After finding my first silver (Barber dime) Friday at a park on my way to work, I have made it back a couple times. The park was acquired by the city in 1920 but is adjacent to the river so I'm sure it was used even prior to that. Monday didn't give much except three Wheaties. Went back today for a couple hours and continued to go over the area where I found the Barber and it paid off. Lots of older coins in the area coming home with nine Wheaties, my 1st and 2nd Mercs (1916 (no-D) and 1924) and my first Indian (1905). It's been a GREAT week with my 1st four silvers, 1st Buffalo, 1st Indian and a dozen+ Wheaties. I think I'll be back at this park soon...
