Got a few hours in this weekend at a couple old parks. Seemed to be attracted to Indians instead of silver. Was very excited with my 1st V nickel and my 1st 19th century coin. Then after cleaning the Indians up I realized that I really broke in with a 1873 Indian. Also came across the tax token which I had never seen before.

Thanks for looking...

Nice pieces of turn of the century history! Is there a state on the Tax Token? That 1873 is a great find being a good XF Coin for sure if not better!

It's a KS 1 mill - sorry the picture isn't too great - that was an interesting piece of history for me to read up on...
