"Megan's Night" 12/01/06 Friday Night Daytona Beach Hunt

I went back to Daytona Beach Friday night to a different section of the beach where we were finding a lot of clad coins with lots of corrosion and encrusted with shells and sea life at the very end of our last hunt when I found the Swiss coin.
It was a nice night, but warm, I had to take off the top to my Farmer John suit as I was just too hot. I don't think this part of the beach has been hunted a lot lately due to the condition of the coins I was finding and the number of hits.
I found $3.26 in clad, a couple of deep sea fishing sinkers, a very large fillet knife, and a ladies custom silver ring with the name Megan on the top. I found the ring while standing in the water about 14 inches deep, took 1 large scoop to get it up when I found the ring in my scoop, and the Knife was under the wet sand about 3-4 inches when I found it.
