Hi all,
Gary and I went back tot he Church site we hunted this last week. Man you talk about muddy, we got almost 4 inches of rain this last week, and man did it make this site muddy. We had to keep shutting down our machines just to clean the mud off the coil.

But wow, did the coins ever come up. The old saying the wetter the better sure held true on this site.

Gary had a Great Day, his finds include a 1894 Barber Half Dollar, a SL Quarter can't read the date, a 1877 Seated Dime, 5 IH's 1868, 1876, 1884, 1889, & 1891 and some wheat's and a shielded something cant read it.

I found a 1912 Barber dime, 6 IH's 1881, 1882, 1888, 1889, 1897, 1906 and a token from International Harvester Co. Manure Spreader, Chicago USA on the front and on the back Rich Soil Less Toil with a picture of a spreader and a team of horses.

We really did have a good day, but man was it muddy and cold. 34 degrees.

Hope you had a great weekend and you were able to get out and find some goodies.

HH, Ringfinder

Wow, looka all those IHs and silver! The 1876 and 1868 IHs are good dates, and appear in nice condition too. Yeah those shield nickels were from 1866 to 1883. Very impressive batch of finds, both of you guys. Keep it up!! HH!

Thanks Nate, did you guys get out today or yesterday? I know it was kinda cold out, but you gotta hit those sites one more time.

Yesterday I just got a few wheats and a war nickel, and did not make it back to the Iceberg unfortunately this weekend. We'll be back there hopefully sometime soon if we get a chance though.

Quite a batch of goodies there, ringfinder!

I'm betting that International Harvester thingy would sell for $100 to $300 on Ebay. Old medallions and fobs and such for old farm equipment has been really hot lately in the collectibles market.

Congrats on a super site yielding super goodies!

Congratulations to both of you on all of those great coins. The last and only time I have been in some really really muddy conditions was with Daytondigger on a construction site. LoL we got a load of wetness and a few wheaties. Well he got the wheaties. Driving rain and wind was making it a fun hunt though. Sort of an adventure. But gotta admit digging coins out of mud is no fun. But I would take mud everytime if I could dig out those coins.

Great haul,

Rev
