Deep targets with the T2

1886 V Nickel

These are just some of the highlights That came out of the front yard of this 18 seventy's home that is still standing. The 1886 v nickel is my favorite. They were all deep targets but the ring and the rosette were the deepest. The rosette was under a root about 9 inches down, the ring was about 8.

Bev, I may be wrong, but I think that year was composed of brass, copper or bronze.

Mine come out of the ground so dark you can barely see detail, yours is really nice!

Congrats on that great V-nickel find. Check a price guide- that coin looks like it has a full Liberty- grade F is worth $400!

Congrats on the key date. With over a half billion (V's total) made you'd think more would be found ?

Key date not withstanding, I REALLY like the pair of keys, and the teeny tea cup, old toys are scarce finds. My ratio anyway is many old coins for one old toy.
