quick 25 minutes at my neices house scored these 3 things. Neat token that says "Ruth Mitchel 1950 Good luck" on it. The Charles Lindbergh watchfob is pretty neat also. front.JPG back.JPG SAM_2981.JPG SAM_2983.JPG Pretty sure the round religous medal is silver. Everyone i found online is but mine was brown and nasty til i put a little metal polish to it and now it looks like silver. Im not sure though?? anyone wanna weigh in on it feel free.... thanks for looking and HH

Nice mix of finds....the good luck token were stamped out at circuses and fairs back in the time....your religious medallion could be silver or silver plated copper....try nicking it and see if it shows as silver or copper underneath.

Nice finds.

thanks, im surprised no coins or even trash at this place, not a big yard, but has a long slate sidewalk right through the middle of it, tried both sides all the way back and forth, and only these. oh well, better than nothing i guess

View attachment 698354 ok nevermind, i found it online, appearantly they were personalizable tokens from arcades??

those tokens were made on a machine called a "Metal Typer". They were common in arcades and tourist areas. I'm 49 and I remember using them when I was a kid. They have been around much longer than me though. I've dug a few of these tokens, including one dated 1913. Evidently it was made during that year, because my grandma knew the woman who's name was on it and she said it was not the year of her birth. Here's a link for a picture of the machine.... Metal Typer. Luck made here. | Flickr - Photo Sharing!
