Re: Men's Gold Wedding Band - Found

Is there any other markings inside the band...That's a yes or no answer. Don't give out the initials if you don't have to. Then advertise in the local paper. Or>>>FINDERS KEEPERS

Nice find fellow Floridian! Did I tell you I was 6'6" and weigh 280lbs.! :o I didn't lose my ring though! Darn!! ;) ;D If there are no initials inscribed or a makers mark at least,it's doubtful you will find the owner.Post an ad in the lost&found in the local newspaper where it was found.Don't say where exactly it was found, just a general location. That way even if it doesn't have any identifiable marks, maybe the owner can tell you where exactly (the field) it was lost.

Re: Men's Gold Wedding Band - Found

Sounds like a Cinderella story to me. If some short skinny guy shows up to claim it you know it ain't him.

You know the guy may have lost it on purpose. Came home from work early, found his wife in bed with the plumber, takes a drive and gives the ring a big toss out the car window.

I wonder how many women lose their wedding rings on purpose and then ask their husbands, honey I lost my ring, now that we have more money can i get a bigger stone?

That's a helluva ring. Nice eyeballing job. No initials? I think it's yours!!!!! A guy that big doesn't need to give an explanation to his wife!! :D

Hmmmmmmmmm.

An amazing variance in the attitudes expressed in these replies. Best of luck whatever you do. I think it would look good on a gold chain around your neck. Expose it to drive off the pests, or conceal it when you want company. Of course, I am assuming that sz3petite means you're small and female........... :)

Haven't seen your ID before, so Welcome to the forum, and congratulations on the great find.

May you find many more treasures in your life.

Gotta love gold!!!

I'm having a similar dillema with a ring I found earlier in the year-still don't know what to do!!

But gold is good!!!

Have fun,
