headed back out to the field site ive been working and continue to find a fair number of flat buttons, some decorative, best find today, what looks to be a pre civil war navy button, any help on dating it will be greatly appreciated, found the butt plate to go with the musket trigger guard found at the same site on sunday, maybe i will find the whole gun soon haha, and a couple 3 ringers to round it out, cant wait to get back out to this site, i know theres got to be a nice silver coin or two waiting to be found
