Had a pretty great afternoon hunt today! Scored a 1960 dime a 925 ring , a single sterling stud earring with prolly a cz for a stone and I found this really cool sterling Coi fish pendant that also opens its mouth for a locket and articulates--
Lastly I found this three inch long copper point that looks like a worn out drill bit that might have broke from the handle or it's a broken tusk from a copper narwal statue lol!! Anyone have any ideas on the copper piece? I found it in key west so shipbuilding tool isn't that much of a stretch either but the tip is dull and isn't spiraled quite enough to make me think drill but sure does look similar!! Any ideas? Thanks for checking out today's booty everyone!!

I'm no expert but if it's a tool, maybe it is some sort of punch or awl?

I see the twist, it might be a tool for leather working, boring a hole for a rivet maybe. the old brace and bit drills had an odd head on the bits so they would lock into the brace.
