Whoo Hoo!!! My first ring!

I found my first ring ever today! I found it in the same park as I found the 1928 Mercury dime yesterday. The dime was at about 4 inches and the ring at 2 inches. I couldn't beleive my eyes when the ring popped out. I've had my BH 202 a week now and in about 10 hours of detecting have found these 2 pieces of silver and $.30 in modern coinage. The inside of the ring is marked sterling. Anybody have any ideas on what the stone is? The stone has an amber tint.

All right! Way to go! The rings are great fun and it's always fun to find them. The ring is 925 sterling silver the stone by the way it's set in the ring looks like a garnett have it checked out at the jewlers to make sure.

Great finds Carl. You must be a die hard, I went out in my front yard today and gave up on the first signal. Ground was just like breaking glass! Good for you~CO2

Nice dime and ring Carl. Looks like it was our weekend for silver. I found a 43 nickel yesterday and the 1911 Barber dime today.

Dont ya just love seeing the shiny ones in the hole and not some tarnished up clad coin. 8)

Nice digs! Did the finger come with the ring? Yep, garnet, a birthstone perhaps.
