    1920's Operators License. 1914 Chauffeur's License.

I went to an old soccer field today that I've been to many many times. There's never much found but I know there's a ring there and I want it. So I go back every now and then. No rings have been found there by me or my buddies. One of these days I'll post the picture of it.

Today I found a 1911 penny and this cool 1920's Operator's License from Arizona. It says, If found return to James H. Kerby, Secretary of State.

A couple of years ago I found a 1914 Chauffeurs Badge from California about 30 feet from where I found the License so I've added some pictures of it as well.

The name James H. Kerby is on the license. He was the secretary of state for arizona at the time. No drivers name on it.
The badge has the makers of the badge on the back. Irvine and Jachens. No drivers name on it either.
There might be records somewhere. I haven't looked.

Irvine and Jachens was the first maker of Badges for the San Francisco Police Department and surrounding departments in the 1880's. They have moved and are still in business in Daly City, California. Their old catalogs can still be found on line. Those are very cool relics and have to be related due to where you found them. Happy hunting, Sub
