I was inspired by NJLargeCent's post of his very cool sterling silver knife cover find. I found mine about 20 years ago in the side yard of my childhood home in Upstate NY. Mine have initials on one side....N.O.W., which i believe is for the National Organization of Women? House dates from the 1880's, and I did find a 1890 IH Cent not far from these covers. Any theories are welcome...and yes, they are marked sterling on the other side.

Glad to see another version. I figure it's always cool to find a pocket knife--even better to find a silver one! Thanks for sharing!
