After spending the entire weekend studying and writing 4 papers for my College classes,
I decided to get some fresh air outside and metal detect an area that I've considered for about a year.

Here are the results.

Not a lot of value I guess, but the trip outdoors and the relief of academic stress was invaluable!

My Best Wishes,

Scott

PS. Guess where I metal detected? :icon_scratch:

Well,

After some internet searches,
it appears that I may have struck bronze....:tongue3:

The blue car is a "Hot Wheels" that is somewhat collectible....

I found this after looking on our Great and Glorious Internet....

https://www.proxibid.com/asp/LotDetail.asp?ahid=5679&aid=49920&lid=12733409

and this....

Hot Wheels 6404, Classic Nomad - US Price Guide #8054

Apparently, there is high demand for certain collectibles.

In this case, the collectible was from 1969 and I'm guessing that a child "purloined" the item and lost it.

Much to my gain!

Anyone near as old as me may have heard tales of kids robbiing
their parents coin collections and then we find the gems in rolled or loose coins from the bank, but, what about this?

Some kid took a collectible "Hot Wheels" car from his Dad and lost it at the playground?

I feel for the child, but....

And,
Now the bidding starts on lot #66.

I got a bidda 20 now 30, 20, now thirty, got thirty, now forty....Better strike while the iron's hot.....

Who'll give a bid, now 40.....

I'll be takin' bids as I get naked for a well deserved shower!

Too much Info?
