Went out saturday with a buddy of mine and his wife to hit up his grandmothers yard. She said the house was built in either the 1920's or 1930's. He said he went one time before for just a few minutes before dark and found a couple wheat pennies so we was hopeful and waiting for the nice weather to return to hit it again. Glad we did. My very first beep was the 1914 D barber dime and it is my first true solid silver. A few minutes later my buddy pulled a 1930 wheat penny and then I found a 1945 D wheat. Then his father in law pulled up to see how we was doing so I told his wife to go grab his detector from him and see what she could find real fast. She didn't walk but maybe 5 steps from him and found the childs watch. As you can guess, they are looking to buy a second detector now. We are thinking the watch is just 10K plated but kinda of unsure. Be happy to hear if anyone knows anymore on the watch cause we are just guessing about it. Also found some clad and other odd things like the button with DOZFIT on it. Not sure what to make of it. We will be hitting this yard again but all in all it was a good hunt.
