got out for a bit before the weather shut me down, was hunting an old house site in the woods and damn if i didnt find something unexpected, a nice schenkel fuse date on it is Oct 10, 1861, a thin silver religious medallion of some sort but only found this half of it, there is writing and an image on both sides, and i liked this intact porcelain mason jar lid piece so i kept that to, like the iron cross logo on it

I know this is late, and someone may have already given you this information, but.... I found information about coins from England with the following description of it:
They appear to date from the 1600's in England, by the engraver Simon De Passe. They were called silver jettons or counters, used as tokens or game pieces, not as currency.

From the Journal of the British Archaeological Association: "It bears on the obv. the full-faced bust of the king, with a broad-brimmed hat turned up on one side; and on th reverse, the bust of Prince Henry, who died in 1612. The motto encircling the heads is taken from Psalm Ixxi, 'Give thy judgments, O God, unto the king,' (and) 'and thy righteousness unto the king’s son.' A similar piece was exhibited to the Association by Mr. J. Clarke, of Easton, November 28th, 1855. Among the treasures at Strawberry Hill were a set of seven of these jettons, with the heads of James and his family. And in the same collection was an oval gold plate, bearing on one side the head of Charles I, and on the other an equestrian figure of the king. Both these exquisite productions of De Passe are now in the possession of Miss Burdett Coutts."

Unknown if this would be one of those originals or some type of reproduction, but it seems like a place to start. You can see a good picture of this coin at this link:

Hope this is helpful to you.

I agree. Looks plenty old. But that fuse is A-1. Nice digging!
