Hey everyone! Found a nice button today. It says rich orange on the back and has some kind of star or sun on the bottom. Im still learning about colonial buttons so any information will be greatly appreciated. I tried to be careful cleaning it off. All i did was run water over it in the creek. Turned out a brownish red color. Is this what you would usually expect? And if not what's the best cleaning method? Thanks everyone!
