Second Relic found on the Farm...................

This one seems to be a medallion or something. Funny thing is that i was out detecting with our son and he found this laying in the soil in our garden. Without a detector, he just spotted it. Good boy !!
The front is a little blurry, but you will get the picture. The back is sharper. I think this is a religious medallion.
The letters IHS on the top is an abbreviation of Jesus, i learned after some quick research on the net.
Our area was settled by french colonists. The family which build the farm and farmhouse are not French or French related. Hope you enjoy watching this one. I posted a picture of both sides of the Medallion.

Your farm finds are super cool! No matter how you find 'em. My buddy from SC has been detecting for 30 years. He's always finding
gold and silver bracelets and things just laying on the ground.
