Chris,

Excellent job on the database. Looks great and well worked. Love the journal-type entries. Hey, I see you and Steve, but, who's that scrub in the middle? ;) I also absoluuuuuutely love the way you removed the GE coords from the photo. Very secretive.....

Look forward to more of those entries!

duh...duh... DFX
I found an identical token for Lincoln, and was told it was from a set by the Franklin Mint of famous presidents, and not that old (1950s I think ?)

Nice digs though...there's no doubt silver there.

:o Wow :o

What a great great read! Love the read, love the pics, love the finds! :o

I was especially drawn to the Thomas Jefferson "token" so I thought. . hhmm, see if I can find anything ( par for course I usually don't, but still got to try ;D )

Anyhoot the only thing I found in my brief search was this question in reference to the "token" -
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20061229012407AA141ff

which sends you to -
http://www3.tky.3web.ne.jp/~jafarr/Tokens.htm
& the really looks like your Thomas Jefferson!! But when I re-read the question part the answer given was kinda hazy. . at least my impression was the site that was showing the "token" was . .fake?

Anyhow I am a bit baffled ??? that that was the only picture or even "info" I came across during my search. . . hope someone else can be of help for I sure am curious!

Again great finds & great write up ;D
