Hello T'Netters. Hit some new territory with a buddy today. Nice spot, but the hits were few and far between. But my first target of the day was a beauty. An 1832 Capped Bust quarter ! I didn't dare clean it in the field but my buddy took a look and knew exactly what it was. As a matter of fact he practically predicted this find. On the hike in he stated that you never see people posting Capped Bust quarters. He was rewarded later in the hunt with a nice Colonial copper.

Happy Hunting!

On PGCS, an 1832 Capped Bust Quarter in EF-40, which this appears to be looking at the pictures, is worth $450

Now that doesn't make your day, more like week or month - maybe even year!

AU-55, which may be a stretch pegs in at $1150

That is just spectacular. Looks like it could of been dropped days ago, not over 150 years ago.

Oh Good Lord ! That is a blazer !!!!!!!!!! I am actually stunned at the number of rather high grade capped bust coins that are dug
seems like we see tons of trashed Barbers and SlQ's , and seateds- and a dis- proportionately high no. of capped bust that are VF or
better .
